The YIFY name became so popular that it was the most searched term on Kickass Torrents 2013. Its dominance continued until 2015, when it was again the most searched phrase on BitTorrent networks. Yiftach announced that he was retiring from encoding/uploading in 01/2014. He said it was time for a change in his life. The website was renamed YTS, and moved to a new domain, yts.re. "YIFY Torrent Solutions" is the acronym for "YTS". The website's management was then transferred to the current personnel. Yts.re was the owner of a corporation in United Kingdom. It was officially formed on February 5, 2015. Yiftach served as a "programmer" for the company. The corporation was closed permanently in February 2016.

YIFY website was completely updated on 02/2015. Both the frontend as well as backend were reprogrammed in order to keep up with huge user traffic. Users were surprised when the YIFY website crashed unexpectedly. There were no messages or alerts from staff. It was confirmed that the website was shut down permanently at the end October 2015.
