About Vidgo

What is Vidgo?

Vidgo is a relatively new entrance into the crowded online streaming market. The service, which debuted in December 2019, offers customers a selection of more than 55 live channels, including entertainment, children, lifestyle, news, and sports. Vidgo streaming is a particularly enticing alternative for college sports enthusiasts, as it offers one of the most diverse channel selections available in the streaming market. It does not, however, provide access to local sports channels that broadcast live games from major American sports leagues. Plus, Spanish-speaking viewers can also benefit from this service. Vidgo, unlike the majority of its streaming rivals, does not allow members to record content. They can, however, use the service's TV Everywhere function to stream programmes on demand.

Plans and pricing for Vidgo in 2022

Vidgo offers you 4 streaming options: core, plus, latino and latino plus. All options have live streaming in HD quality but no offline downloads and original content. I will give you a summary of the cost here:

- Core: $45, 63 channels.

- Plus: $55, 80 channels.

- Latino: $20, 14 channels.

- Latino Plus: $30, 31 channels.

Currently, there is a promotion running on Vidgo allowing new users to save $5 per month and the best part is that this applies to all packages. Now, this website Core is only $40 a month, while you only have to pay $45 a month for Vidgo Plus. The Latino package costs $15 per month for new Spanish-speaking users, and the Latino Plus plan costs $25 per month. Vidgo is a monthly pre-paid service, meaning users pay for one month of access up in advance and can cancel at any time before the next payment is due. It also offers prospective clients a three-day free trial to try out the service before committing to a full membership.

Vidgo supported devices

Vidgo can be seen on web browsers and on devices that are compliant with the service's app. You can stream Vidgo on mobile phones and almost all streaming gadgets. The following devices are compatible with Vidgo:

  • Fire TV devices from Amazon
  • Apple TV

  • Roku streaming media players

What to watch on Vidgo

The core package includes the following entertainment channels A&E, Animal Planet, Comedy Central, Curiosity Stream, Discovery, Game Show Network, History, Investigation Discovery, Lifetime, MTV, National Geographic, VH1, and Viceland. Aspire, DIY Network, and Travel Channel are just a few of the leisure channels available. Its news selection is limited, with only Cheddar and FOX News available to members.

Sports on Vidgo

From our research, sports is Vidgo's greatest strength. Vidgo’s sports channels include six ESPN channels (ESPN and ESPN 2), as well as FOX Sports 1 and FOX Sports 2, NFL Network, and Stadium. Although most major sports are covered, but it lacks many of the local sports channels. Local networks such as ABC and FOX, on the other hand, can be accessed utilising the TV Everywhere feature. Vidgo is the only live streaming service that offers access to all four major National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) channels — Big Ten Network, Longhorn Network, Pac-12 Network, and SEC Network which is like a heaven for college sports enthusiasts.

Spanish Channels on Vidgo

Vidgo also has one of the greatest channel selections for Spanish-speaking viewers in the streaming market. A3CINE, Azteca America, Discovery en Espanol, FOX Life, History en Espanol, Nat Geo Mundo, Telefe, and WAP America are among the Latino plan's standard channel roster. Besides beIN Sports and beIN Sports Espanol, ESPN Deportes, FOX Deportes, and TyC Sports, strong sports offerings are also available at Vidgo which makes it a deal for sports fans. Some of the Spanish channels are Centroamérica TV, Cinelatino, Estudio 5, HOLA! TV, NTN24, RCN Novelas, Telefórmula, Telehit Urbano, Televisión Dominica, and Video Rola, which you can get from the Latino Más package. The Latino plans can’t be added to the Vidgo Core or Plus membership, unfortunately. If you want both English and Spanish channels, you must either create two Vidgo accounts or use another streaming service to get the English-speaking channels.

Vidgo features

DVR

Vidgo, unlike its opponents in the tv Streaming market, does not allow consumers to record programmes. It does not give a Digital Video Recorder (DVR), which is a popular feature offered by other live streaming services. Vidgo also does not offer on-demand viewing of movies and television series.

Simultaneous Streams and Profiles

Users can stream up to 3 streams all at once with Vidgo. This is competitive with all of the biggest popular live streaming services, and only the Sling TV Orange + Blue plan, which allows customers to watch on up to four devices at once, surpasses it.

User Experience

Vidgo offers a simple user interface that comprises solely of a channel guide. Channels are organised in rows that show the next two hours of coverage and are conveniently classified into categories like Family, Favorites, Recents, and Sports. This makes navigating through the menu and guides easier for viewers to explore all of the options and what they want to watch.

Finding the best TV streaming service is difficult these days as there are so many options for live TV streaming. There are numerous methods to cut the cord, each with its own set of material, price points, and viewing options, and, of course, each streaming site falls somewhere on the quality spectrum. And, as I am sure many of you have already know, when it comes to free live TV streaming services, both sides of the spectrum can go very extreme - I have seen some free live TV streaming sites in my time that made me laugh out loud because they were so horrible.
