There are a plethora of free streaming websites to pick from. However, many of them have a notoriety for being shady and dangerous to use. Is it safe to use free streaming sites and apps? I prefer to start by looking at how the app is built and how easy it is to use. Then I look at the material, such as how many movies and series the app has to offer and what quality they are available in. And now, despite the fact that I don't usually talk about it, Showbox needs to have an official post dedicated to how to download its app and content, as it is different from other apps.

Design

Showbox was formerly one of the most popular apps available on the Google Play store. This is most likely why it has been removed from the Google Play store. It is also not available on the Apple App Store. Having said that, it is well-designed for an app that shouldn't exist in the first place. I spend a lot of time looking at various free streaming applications, and I must admit that they aren't always this good.

Showbox, on the other hand, is far from this. It has a clean, professional appearance. It appears to be a premium streaming service. The main difference is that Showbox has almost everything, whereas a paid streaming app would have far fewer options. The app's layout is highly fluid and familiar, making it one of the most user-friendly apps accessible. It's a pity this software isn't accessible in any of the legitimate app stores... But don't worry, I'll tell you precisely how to download the app in a minute, and it's still very much accessible.

Content

As the saying goes, if you can imagine it, you can achieve it. To put it another way, if you can think of a film title, it's likely to be available on Showbox. Showbox, like many other free streaming services, pulls from a large number of media host sites and torrents, which means that if someone has submitted a file containing a movie or TV show, you'll be able to watch it.

Regarding the content, though, I do have an issue with Showbox which is the fact that all files must be played using a third-party media player program. VLC Media Player, for example, will work. VLC is a good software to have (and it's also free), but I'd like it if Showbox made the whole thing a little simpler by including a somewhat competent media player in the app itself. F rankly speaking, there's nothing simple about this free streaming app.

This is when things become a little complicated. And this is where, in my opinion, the app starts to fail. Although it is not entirely Showbox's fault that Google and Apple removed the app from their respective app stores, it is still highly inconvenient that you now have to go all the way to get Showbox onto your phone.

To get started, go to Showbox-apk.mobi. Then, the website will instruct you to go through 6 steps to get Showbox from your computer to your phone. It may also be necessary to download other download management applications, depending on your device. It's not impossible, but it's certainly not practical. Given that several of the free streaming sites out there are well-optimized for mobile viewing and provide almost identical material, you may be wondering if installing Showbox is actually worth the time and effort.

That said, once you get access to Showbox's clean and user-friendly layout, you might think it is worthwhile. After all, it's only a one-time thing, and you'll enjoy the convenience of free streaming from a gorgeous app on your mobile device for the rest of your life.

Suggestions that I have for Showbox

My most important advice is to make it easy for individuals to download the app onto their devices. But, hey, what can you do if none of the main app stores accepts your app?

Second, I hope that one day the app will be upgraded to incorporate its own media player. That will rocket this app to the top of the rankings as the finest free streaming app available. It would be game over for other streaming apps if Showbox featured a fantastic in-app media player. This would also make Showbox well worth the time and effort it would take to download it.
