Fite TV debuted on May 20, 2012, and has since grown to an astounding number of subscribers. Fite TV now has over 1.6 million subscribers from all around the world. Not bad for a streaming service that many people predicted would fail when it first launched in 2012, just as the UFC was gaining traction. At the time Fite TV chose to take on the MMA powerhouse, many people believed it was foolish. But, hey, is not rivalry the spirit of capitalism?

About FITE TV

There are many different combat sports leagues out there – some specializing in MMA, others in boxing, wrestling, and other types – and if you have not previously learned about them, now is the time.

Ring of Honor, the National Wrestling Alliance,  New Japan Pro Wrestling, Top Rank, Rizin Fighting Foundation, Golden Boy, All Elite Wrestling, Premier Boxing Champions, and Major League Wrestling are among the leagues I am referring to just to name a few. Sure, finding out where to stream or how to watch the next UFC or WWE event is simple, but finding out about these lesser-known and, frankly, more obscure combat sports leagues can be more difficult.

Fortunately, a streaming service that specialised in broadcasting all of the aforementioned leagues exists and more. I prefer to think of it as a streaming service for underdog combat sports. This is for really hardcore wrestling and fighting lovers. Fite TV is a streaming service that you should investigate if you can not get enough MMA, boxing, or professional wrestling.

History

Fite TV debuted on May 20, 2012, and has since grown to an astounding number of subscribers. Fite TV now has over 1.6 million subscribers from all around the world. Not bad for a streaming service that many people predicted would fail when it first launched in 2012, just as the UFC was gaining traction. At the time Fite TV chose to take on the MMA powerhouse, many people believed it was foolish. But, hey, is not rivalry the spirit of capitalism?

That is, moreover, the ethos of combat sports in general. When it came time to fight UFC TV, Fite TV was not going to back down. They were also prudent for not retreating. Fite TV has swiftly established itself as one of the most popular combat sports streaming providers in the world.

Fite TV does not appear to be going anywhere anytime soon, with an excellent team of executives and investors backing the streaming network. For example, Tim Draper, a well-known investor who has backed Hotmail, Space X, Skype, Tesla, Baidu, and many other well-known firms, has invested in Fite TV; and, with the exception of Hotmail, nothing Draper has backed has failed. As a result, there may never have been a better time to join Fite TV than right now.

Design

Fite TV has a straightforward design. And I mean that in the most positive sense. It is simple and straightforward to use. Even if the term "basic" has a bad connotation, the simpler a service is constructed, the better. I adore the classic black and red colour scheme... it shouts combat to me. And it is in the layout that Fite TV's true convenience and user-friendliness shine through.

Simply look through the Fite TV event calendar. Each match features a styled graphic and clicking on the event will provide you with extra information on the fight, competitor stats, and even additional video content to help you prepare for the big event. Simply select which screen you would want to watch it on and sit back and relax. When it comes to streaming the greatest in combat sports and pay-per-view events, it does not get any easier than this.

Content

Fite TV will provide you access to pay-per-view events from almost all of the notable combat sports leagues like I just described. Fite TV has a lot more to offer. Fite TV not only allows you to watch live PPV events, but also has a large collection of archived matches and events. For example, the Fite TV Impact Plus subscription includes access to the Impact Wrestling Library, which has over 3,000 hours of archived content available for on-demand streaming.

However, as a Fite TV subscriber, you will have access to more than just fights. Fite TV also features a lot of "groundbreaking original material," as they put it. This essentially consists of programmes that contain analysis, fight forecasts, stats, and insider, behind-the-scenes footage and interviews with athletes, similar to other sports streaming services. Fite TV, on the other hand, goes above and beyond other platforms in terms of original programming. Original documentaries and reality TV programmes are also available, allowing you to get to know your favourite boxers like never before.

When it comes to getting the most bang for your money, Fite TV may be the only sports streaming provider that offers more.

Experience in Mobile and Desktop

As I alluded to before, Fite TV just allows you to choose which screen you want to view material on, so the experience is the same regardless of which device you are using. Fite TV works well on a smart TV, Roku, and mobile devices in addition to the fantastic in-browser site. Fite TV is, in fact, one of the most highly rated sports streaming apps available. Fite TV has a 4.6/5 star rating on the Apple App Store, indicating that users enjoy the interface and usage of the app regardless of device. And that is exactly what a paid subscription service should provide.

Plans and Pricing

Impact Plus and Honor Club are the two basic Fite TV plans. Here are the fundamentals for each...

  • Impact Plus includes live network broadcasts, archived videos, original series/shows/documentaries, and other historical archived content. Impact Plus is available on a monthly $7.99 or yearly $71.99 basis.
  • On the other side, Honor Club members receive discounts on PPV events, unique tour videos, unrestricted on-demand streaming, commercial-free live programming, and everything else Impact Plus has to offer. This costs $9.99 per month or $99.99 per year.

Fite TV offers a free 30-day trial regardless of the plan you choose to see if it is perfect for you.

Suggestions for Fite TV

The only suggestion I have for Fite TV is that they broadcast their own important events. It would be fantastic if Fite TV could somehow avoid the PPV paradigm. I understand that this would be a legal and contractual issue, but it would be fantastic if I did not have to pay for PPV events in addition to a monthly or annual Fite TV subscription.

3+ Best FITE TV Alternatives For Best Sport Streaming Sites

Fubo TV
Fubo TV appeals to me mostly because of its sports programming. It almost covers every major sport around the globe, not just national and international competitions, but even local events. At first, it only provided a 24-hour soccer live feed. It has shown a growing interest in various types of content, such as entertainment and prime time television, since its relaunch.
ESPN Plus
ESPN Plus has replaced the league-owned NHL as the new home for all out-of-market NHL games. A significantly more affordable TV package. Fans who root for teams that are not based where they reside, like me, will require ESPN's streaming service to keep up with their favourite teams this season. Fans of the home hockey team, on the other hand, will not benefit from the service. Local games are not available on ESPN Plus, so you will have to watch them through cable or a live TV streaming service.
